I
am pleased to welcome Amper, Politziner &
Mattia as a Bronze Level Sponsor of BioStrategy
Partners! Amper offers tax and accounting
services for both public and private life sciences
companies that span the entire development
cycle. Julie Udal, CPA is located in the
Jenkintown

Those
of you who attended the September Practical
Knowledge Series program on company valuation know
that it was standing room only! Be sure to
register for the October 16th session, details
below and moderated by H. Donlon Skerrett,
President, Pharmaceutical Consulting Consortium,
Inc. (PCCI). Through the Practical Knowledge
Series, BioSP is able to reach many more people
than through our one-on-one programs-yet another
way that we assist scientific founders, first-time
entrepreneurs and technology transfer by creating
a young company community in the Greater
Philadelphia
region.

The
Life Sciences Leadership Forum
|
|
BioSP
has developed a number of innovative programs for
scientific founders and first-time
entrepreneurs. Our latest, the Life Sciences
Leadership Forum (Forum), boosts business acumen
and networks participants into the life sciences
ecosystem. Designed for small groups, there
are seven sessions and each provides management
training on topics identified as critical to
starting, managing and expanding a life
science/biopharma/device company. The Forum
was developed in collaboration with KIZ Partners
Montgomery and Bucks County Community
Colleges and initially
piloted within our KIZ. A generous
grant from the Delaware Valley Innovation Network,
a United States Department of Labor WIRED
recipient serving the Delaware Valley Region is
enabling BioSP to offer three Forums
simultaneously, in southeastern Pennsylvania (with
Montgomery and Bucks County Community Colleges and
La Salle University), in South Jersey (with
Burlington County College), and in northern
Delaware (with Delaware Technical and Community
College). Eighteen entrepreneurs are
currently enrolled. This round of Forums
will conclude in November 2009.
If you are a scientific founder
and/or first-time entrepreneur interested in
participating in a future Forum, please send an
