Drug Detection Solutions, a KIZ company, was selected as one of the top start up companies to present at this year's annual University of Florida Technology Showcase in Gainesville last month. The University of Florida Technology Transfer Department is ranked top in the Nation behind MIT and the California Institute of Technology in producing and developing technology startup.

"We are pleased to be part of the showcase and made very valuable contacts at the meeting." said Steven T. Gold, JD, MPH, MBE, Drug Detection Solution's Vice President of Business Development. Also, the company's CEO, Dr. David M. Martin, participated in a due diligence training session at BioStrategy Partners prior to making his presentation in Florida and said, "The session coordinated by BioStrategy Partners was an important part of our success, it was very professionally organized and fair in its comments
and assessment of our company." Dr. Martin was also invited to present at the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) in New Orleans on May 2,
2009 and gave an overview of existing technologies for roadside drug testing of passenger car drivers including the company's new surface testing product, the Locator Rx5tm.
