| Company Profile: OneWorld Biotech, Inc. |
|
In 2006, Dr. Malla Padidam founded OneWorld Biotech, Inc., an R&D partnering company that provides discovery research outsourcing services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and government research institutions. Dr. Padidam, OneWorld's President and a molecular biologist/geneticist with more than 20 years of scientific and entrepreneurial experience, recognized a major business opportunity in this very rapidly growing segment where significant industry-wide reductions in internal research staffs have led to increasing use of outsourcing services for early-stage research programs. Dr. Padidam also recognized the need for a strong business and marketing strategy to effectively market his new company and to differentiate OneWorld's products and services in an increasingly competitive contract services industry. As a participant in BioStrategy Partners' Corporate Development Program, Dr. Padidam worked with PolySolutions Advisors LLC to develop a detailed business, marketing and financial plan. Using the plan as a foundation, BioSP then engaged the services of Markitects, Inc. who worked with Dr. Padidam to develop marketing messages, brochures (click here to see a sample) and a professionally redesigned website to enhance the company's internet presence, a vital connection to its customer base. "BioSP's Corporate Development Program provided OneWorld Biotech with highly effective and personalized business, financial and marketing coaching at a very early stage when the company needed it most, helping us to create a strong foundation for future growth."
Dr. Padidam has now cmpleted all of his milestones and is the first "graduate" of BioSP's Corporate Development Program. We wish him great success! |
