Additional Panelists to be Announced Shortly

Yes it is tough raising capital for your new early-stage life science company but there is money out there, and there are ways to access it. First and foremost is being able to identify and communicate the value proposition. Investors invest to realize a return on their invested capital. Once you have a clear vision on the value proposition, you can then focus on the various types of investors that are likely to be interested in your opportunity. These investors come in all shapes and sizes including governmental granting agencies, individual angels, disease foundations, strategic partners, and multinational venture capitalists.

The second part of this two-part series will include professionals that have succeeded raising capital in the worst of times from both conventional as well as not so conventional sources. The panelists will share their success and failure stories of financing early stage life science companies. There is hope!
Event scheduled: May 31 2013
