BioStrategy Partners Featured in Philadelphia Business Journal Supplement

The BioStrategy Partners Corporate Development Program (CDP) offers individualized, ”hands-on” assistance and management training designed to achieve the business and technical goals essential to surviving the critical early stages of development and corporate growth.

The CDP assists the company with preparation of business, financial and marketing plans, intellectual property planning, technology validation, professional quality communications materials and polished investor and/or partnering presentations. Our goal is to prepare our client companies to approach investors, corporate partners and economic development agencies such as Ben Franklin Technology Partners and the Life Sciences Greenhouses.

The foundation of the CDP is a customized, milestone-based Development Plan based on the recommendations of the Diligence Review and consisting of business and/or scientific milestones, timelines and recommended Service Provider engagements tailored to the individual company’s needs.

CDP companies may also be provided with a Mentor, who is a member of BioStrategy Partners’ team of experienced entrepreneurs.  BioStrategy Partners Mentors have been founders or senior members of a life sciences start-up management team and bring credibility and first-hand experience that is invaluable to a first-time entrepreneur. The Mentor provides guidance and facilitates the company’s efforts to achieve its milestones.

BioStrategy Partners may provide funding for services provided to CDP companies operating within the KIZ territory,  through grants and direct compensation to the service provider. These services provided to CDP companies would cost thousands, or even tens of thousands of dollars if obtained through the private sector. As a nonprofit organization, BioSP relies upon multiple revenue sources to subsidize the cost of these valuable services.
