![]() Patricia Weeks ![]() Pat Weeks is a life coach and organizational development consultant. She is the founder of Weeks Consulting, LLC. assisting individuals and organizations to achieve their highest goals through the careful crafting of vision, goals, strategy and action. Her clients include high achieving individuals and entrepreneurial organizations representing a broad range of interests. Ms. Weeks is currently Chair Emeritus of the Board of BioStrategy Partners, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development of startup bioscience companies. She is a practice manager with JF. Smith Associates; and consults with the New Jersey Technology Council, Health Research Canada, the World Bank and the National Cancer Institute as well as a number of startup companies in the Philadelphia region. As the former Vice President for Planning and Business Development of the Fox Chase Cancer Center (retired January 1, 2008), Pat had responsibility for strategic planning, technology transfer, legal affairs and policy development. In that capacity, she was responsible for the negotiation of all commercial agreements of the Fox Chase Cancer Center as well as the management of the Center’s technology portfolio. Pat is Past President of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) and has served as President-Elect, President and Past President, VP for Professional Development as well as the VP of the Eastern Region of that organization. She has served on numerous planning committees and task forces in her tenure as a member of AUTM and is the 2006 Awardee of the Bayh-dole Award in recognition of her leadership and contributions to the national and international practice of academic technology transfer. She is a former Chair of the Philadelphia chapter of LES. She is also a member of the Women’s Investment Group of Philadelphia and the Forum of Executive women and is a graduate of Leadership Philadelphia. She participates in numerous efforts to market the Delaware Valley region’s strength in high technology. She has been an invited speaker and facilitator at many national and international conferences, symposia and workshops on the subject of the transfer of academic technology to the commercial sector and strategic planning for nonprofit organizations. In addition, she has served on the board of several startup biotech companies. Mrs. Weeks received her B.A. degree with honors from SUNY and her M.S. in Organizational Development from the University of Pennsylvania as holds the ACC international certification in coaching. |
